Meniere’s Disease and Cannabis Treatment

Unfortunately, there is still no Meniere’s Disease treatment developed today. Specialist will either prescribed you with medications or a therapy to manage the symptoms. However, in many countries and even in some parts of the United States, there are many who have used Cannabis in alleviating the symptoms of Meniere’s Disease.

Since some states in the US have already legalized the use of Cannabis or medical marijuana, people are now free to use Cannabis in treating several illnesses just as what our ancestors did centuries ago. So, is hemp oil good for vertigo?

Hemp oil is another term for CBD oil which is an oil extracted from Cannabis. Unlike the other component of Cananabis, THC, which gives the “high” or causes the toxicity of the plant; CBD has zero psychoactive properties. In fact, it also works in concert with THC. Meaning, a person can smoke or ingest Cannabis for treatment but will get lesser toxicity because of CBD. At the same time, CBD maximizes the therapeutic properties of THC.

Can CBD help hearing loss problems? There is still no solid evidence to back this up, however, CBD is rich in cannabinoids. These Cannabinoids are found to react well with the Endocannabinoid receptors in our brain, opting it to restore the equilibrium of the body by repairing damage cells and fighting illnesses. If CBD is taken regularly, even with little amount, there is a big potential that your symptoms of Meniere’s Disease will be minimized and managed.
